One of the best metronome apps out there. Would be great if you could turn the met on and off from the lock screen!
This metronome is simple and effective. I use this met when teaching, playing live, and in practice. Its very much like a Dr. Beat or ClickStation. The only reason for 4 stars is Id like a "portrait orientation lock" function so you can use the met from any direction on your iPad. Otherwise, it would be 5 stars.
Thank you Yamaha for making this metronome app. Because it is simple, easy to use and it is less expensive then the db-90.

Some bad moments
Just what I need for my band, I can still see room for improvements, but for being the first version it works great.
Finally a metronome app that lets me create a set list for my songs tempos. Makes it great for live performance. Hope to see improvements and updates.
Bug when when saving a song name with an apostrophe in it (app crashes).
This app is perfect. There is no need to go buy an expensive metronome. It does everything that it is supposed to do perfectly. I always trust Yamaha.
Please add a 1/4 option for those of us that just want accents on every beat.

Metronome sound is not clear through headphones. I tried a few different pairs of headphones and it still was a bit distorted/overdriven. This is disappointing because I really like the actual clickstation. Tempo app from Frozen Ape is better.
Clickstation = my favorite met, and this isnt good 1st gen app.
BIGGEST flaw = no 1/4 setting. When I absolutely need to have the driving ping this met wont accommodate. Hopefully thats changed in a future update
